Who can use Wagepay?
Wagepay is a service that is offered to employed Australians earning at least $500 per week into their bank account.
Is Wagepay secure?
We follow the same security and encryption standards as banks and ensure that security best practises are always being followed. Transactions are protected with 256-bit Secures Socket Layer encryption. Our website is certified with a Web Server Certificate.
Is Wagepay a legitimate service?
We sure are. We’re registered as Wagepay Pty Ltd ABN 15 645 114 629.

Applying

How do I qualify for Wagepay?
You’ve got to be employed or at least receiving most of your income from an employer. The minimum income you need to receive into your bank account on a weekly basis is $500 ($1000 every fort night and $2000 every month). It is critical that we can see this income going into a bank account.
How much can I get from Wagepay?
We currently offer up to 25% of your wage in line with your pay cycle. For example, if you’re paid $1000 in the bank every fort night, you’ll have $250 available as an advance.
Why can’t I access all of my wage?
Our product is a responsible and fair financial product. It’s designed to be a short term once off solution to an unexpected cost. Wagepay is not a large long term financial solution.
Can I apply for Wagepay whilst only receiving Centrelink?
No. Wagepay is a service that is offered to employed Australians earning at least $500 per week into their bank account.
How do I apply for Wagepay services?
We are 100% online. Head to our website and sign up.
How many Wagepay Advances can I take out at the same time?
One, we allow you to have one advance at a time, once you have settled your outstanding balance you will be able to apply again.
Does Wagepay do a credit check?
No. At Wagepay, we do not do credit checks as a part of our sign-up process. We complete our assessment using your bank account transaction history.
Does Wagepay contact my employer?
No. We do not involve your employer into our process in any way shape or form.
I have multiple bank accounts, which should I submit?
We need you to submit the account where your employed wages are going into. The minimum income you need to receive into your bank account on a weekly basis is $500 ($1000 every fort night and $2000 every month). It is critical that we can see this income going into a bank account.
What identification documents do I need?
We electronically identify you through services like Credfin, Equifax, Illion or Frankie Financial. Besides your personal details, we generally need you to have your drivers licence number handy.
How long does it take to apply?
On average, it takes about 3 minutes from start to finish.
Once I’ve been accepted how quick do I get my money?
Once you’ve accepted our agreement offer, we will release your money. For most people, you will have the cash in your bank account and ready to use within 60 seconds providing you bank with an NPP-enabled financial institution.
Can you deposit the funds into a different account to my pay account?
We only deposit the funds into the account where your wage goes into.
What is the minimum amount I need to earn to apply at Wagepay?

Why do you need my bank details?
We utilise the latest technology to offer you the best service that we can. Digital bank statements allow us to access read only copies of your bank transactions which allows for lightening fast outcomes. Our digital statement provider is Credfin and you can click here to see their privacy policy and terms and conditions.
Can I apply for Wagepay on a weekend?
Yes, our service is 24/7. 365 days a year.

Why was I declined?
If you do not meet our criteria, we will notify you on the spot that we are unable to assist you.

Managing Account

How do I access my account online?
Once you’ve been accepted as a Wagepay client, you’ll set up an account with us in the online portal when accepting your agreement. You can log into your account 24/7.
How do I update my contact details?
Log into your customer portal and update the details you need to update. If you have any troubles with this, contact us via our ‘contact us’ page.
How do I change the account where repayments come out of?
Log into your customer portal and update the details you need to update. If you have any troubles with this, contact us via our ‘contact us’ page.
When do direct debits come out of my account?
Direct debits are lined up with your wage. The direct debit will come out in line with your wage.
When do I pay back the Wagepay advance?
Your Wagepay advance is paid back on the next day your wage is paid into your bank account.
How much can I get and how often?
We currently offer up to 25% of your wage in line with your pay cycle. For example, if you’re paid $1000 in the bank every fort night, you’ll have $250 available as an advance. It is entirely up to you as to when you want to make use of our service. We will not re-market our service to you.
What happens if I miss a payment?
We’ll notify you when you miss a payment. We’ll give you a number of options as to how you can make up your payment.

I forgot my username or password, what should I do?
You can re-set your username or password via our online portal.
Why is my bank not in the bank options?
We only service 93% of banks within Australia. If your bank does not show up in the list, we are unable to assist you.
My circumstances have changed what do I do?
If your circumstances change it is critical that you contact us. Notify us what has changed with your circumstances and we will put a plan in place to help you.
I have a shared account with my partner, can we both link our Wagepay account to the same bank account?
No, we currently only support one Wagepay account to be linked to a Bank account.

Costs

How much does Wagepay cost?
Wagepay charges a 5% flat fee and 24% interest per annuum. You can get an idea of what the fees and charges are by using the calculator on our website.
Do you charge a direct debit fee?
No. We do not charge a direct debit fee.
Do you charge a dishonour fee?
No. We do not charge a dishonour fee.
